A great night for a great man!
On Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at Liuna Station, the Hamilton Police Service held a wonderful filled evening for Retired Chief Glenn DeCaire. It was as exciting opportunity for Liberty for Youth as the Retired Chief Glenn DeCaire chose us and the Canadian Mental Health Association as a recipient of all proceeds and donations. The retired chief and the Hamilton Police Service has been a very strong supporter of Liberty for Youth for over 10 years and in fact they were our first partner.
The highlight of the evening was a video recording of all guests singing “Happy Birthday” to her majesty, the Queen. All guests, including one of Liberty for Youth’s participants, Luis, got to be front and center.
The end of the evening concluded not only with a touching and memorable speech by the Chief, but also a cheque to Liberty for Youth & the Canadian Mental Health Association in the amount of $7000.00!!
There will never be enough that Liberty for Youth could ever do for Retired Chief DeCaire & the Hamilton Police Service for all they have done for us BUT it is with such appreciation that we say “THANK YOU” for all your support and contributions and we look forward to continuing a great partnership with you going forward.
You will be missed Chief Glenn DeCaire!
