Surprise Shauna! Liberty for Youth participant receives a     Canon Rebel camera by       Chris Mei and Raquel(LFY    Girls Program Facilitator)

Every year the Charity of Hope,(non-profit organization) holds an amazing night at their annual fund raiser to help raise awareness and funds for local charities in Hamilton and the surrounding area, specifically for children and youth.

Liberty for Youth was blessed to be able to attend this great fund raiser with some of our own youth participants.

It was a great night and especially for one of our very own young girls at Liberty for Youth, Shauna. Canon Canada and the Charity of Hope collaborated together to help make a dream a reality. Shauna is planning on becoming an amazing photographer in the near future and when she discovered that she was receiving a Canon Rebel camera as a donation, well, it was an emotional moment that she will not soon forget.

To top off the fantastic night of great food and comedy by comedian, Gerry Dee, we were taken back by a generous donation by the Charity of Hope of $10,000.00. We could not extend our gratitude enough for this amazing contribution to our Run for Youth Campaign and the lives it will change.

Thank you Charity of Hope for all your support and contributions to Liberty for Youth and for such an amazing night, our youth had a great time and Shauna will never forget this evening.
